January 22

once in a moment

another drabble that happened on a sunday, untitled.

I had a dream,
of wondering days,
pathless ways,
and voiceless screams.

I had a dream,
of chocolate and cream.
Burning that wrought
from lives so hot.

I had a dream,
If the world was bright,
from dying light beams,
and senseless delight.

I had a dream,
that hides behind the moon.
A love so extreme,
in a deserted afternoon.

no name

A little thing I wrote while I was searching for things to do.   Note: it's unedited.

The world is filled with Vibrating Air,
upon catastrophes and ladies fair.
Adoring, abusing, absorbing. I'm aching.
Capricious, she lifts and breaks. Crushing.

Stevenson

Requiem
by Robert Louis Stevenson

Under the wide and starry sky,
Dig the grave and let me lie.
Glad did I live and gladly die,
And I laid me down with a will:

This be the verse you grave for me:
Here he lies where he longed to be;
Home is the sailor, home from sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.

HA!

I think I got drunk on New year's eve.  Anyway, happy, happy, happy new year!  A splitting headache and 3 hours of sleep sure is a great way to welcome it.

shiny

My mother is very close to what you call a neat-freak.  She cannot stand any place that is dirty or messy or just unacceptable to her standards.  If ,inescapably, she must remain at an "objectionable" place, she gets this strong urge to clean.  Therefore, every single year my mother has a big spring clean.  This is when she organize everything from papers to clothes to garbage bags.  When she's through, there shan't be a speck of dust left in the house.  Well this year, she decided to get an early start.
Of course, as her daughter, I am obligated to help.  We cleaned this and that, blah blah blah.  One of my little jobs was to clean the jewlery box that my mom and I share.  I had no idea what a collection we have nor how tangled they were.  An apparently large box became surprisingly small.  We even have a pearl set!  Both of us never wear anything pearl!  Anyway, you name it we probably have it.  It struck me on how much we've spent on these things that we hardly ever wear.  Sure we share and fight over some pieces, but most of them hardly ever get to see the light of day. There is this necklace that I bought years ago, but I don't think I've ever wore it.  But then again, knowing this waste won't exactly stop me nor my mom from buying more.  They give you a sort of satisfaction and completion only they can achieve by matching perfectly with what you  are wearing.  As for me, I'd buy them just because they are shiny.
